Opposite of Apathetic

It was sunrise on the second quarter

I witnessed with intention

because that’s when I was born

and there was death five hours north

when dolphins found me in New York,

a crepuscular surprise.

Reporting on the sight,

in passing I also mention

the light that’s drained from my eyes

making it so my only memory

is of everyone trying to teach me: ( -1 < -2 ) although it’s wrong.

To my surprise, I exist

Perplexingly, the opposite of apathetic is not pathetic.

My wish got stuck

for all of August

but when freed it brought

old-soul mates out of the woodwork,

payment in more produce,

offers to produce more.

And after seeing a green cocoon with its golden seal

I’m sure that valid was my anger all-along

but nobody needed to know about it

until I got back.
